10209 Dare to be Different - 10/04 (6:00 PM - 8:00 PM)

In response to inquiries from several students, we are presenting a class developed by Judy Doenias years ago to provide a place where you can explore your creativity. Once a month for four months we will meet (if you love it, we can continue beyond that time). Judy will present a challenge for you to explore during the upcoming month and ask you to present your results to the class on the following month. It can be based on a quilting design (e.g. log cabin, etc.), it can be to explore a shape (e.g. squares, etc.), it can be to create your own design based on simple parameters, or anything that her mind can conjure. If you are ready and willing to participate which includes doing your homework, this inspiring class will elevate your quilting experience.

So, for the first class, the supply list is short and simple. Bring some graph paper, a pencil, a ruler, tracing paper, some colored pencils and most of all your enthusiasm. Each time we meet, Judy will propose another variant and you’ll need other things (Fabric, of course, but other tools might be required as well.)

Skill Level: Beginner, Intermediate and Advanced
Requirements: Must know how to use a sewing machine and rotary cutter
Instructor: Judy Doenias
